With our innovative approach and fan-first mindset, we’re redefining how sports content is experienced and shared.Like any great team, we value respect, creativity, and a sense of enjoyment in what we do. You are...

You’re a builder at heart, someone who sees what’s messy or disconnected and gets excited about making it better, smarter, and actually works. At Better Collective, you’ll shape how millions of sports fans around the world find and connect with the content they care about most. You won’t be handed a playbook; you’ll write it. From building a global audience strategy from scratch to using AI tools to automate repetitive stuff and unlock new ways of working, this is your chance to take something big and make it even bigger. If you’ve been wanting a role where you can lead real change, innovate with the latest technology development, and work with fun brands that people love, this is it.

Job requirements

You will…

  • Create and lead a global audience growth strategy across platforms like social media, websites, podcasts, and newsletters.

  • Connect the full fan journey, from discovery to subscription, using data to improve how and where content is delivered.

  • Lead automation efforts by setting goals and rolling out tools like RPA, AI, and ML to make content creation and delivery faster and smarter.

  • Oversee centralized teams in SEO, evergreen content, and marketing automation to improve how fans find and engage with our content.

  • Track trends and share insights to shape smarter content and distribution strategies.

  • Work closely with editorial teams, business leaders, and marketing to align content efforts with business goals.

  • Use automation to cut down manual work, improve workflows, and grow audience reach efficiently.

  • Lead a team of around 300 people, with about 45 direct reports—supporting their growth, building team culture, and driving results together.

You have...

  • +5 years of proven experience in a leadership role. Ideally in large cross-functional teams (100+).

  • Strong background in growing audiences and building content distribution strategies.

  • Comfortable working with automation tools like RPA, AI, and ML, and able to lead teams in using them effectively.

  • Solid understanding of SEO—enough to guide and support the SEO team, not do the day-to-day work.

  • Skilled at bringing different teams together, leading large cross-functional groups, and keeping everyone focused on shared goals.

New York: 250-300K USD base
