Job description

We are seeking a Senior Digital PR Data Analyst to join our Publishing department at Better Collective.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to drive digital PR strategies and campaigns. Your insights will play a crucial role in optimizing our PR efforts and enhancing our online presence.

Job responsibilities

  • Collect and scrape data from public domains and internal databases for data driven earned media stories.

  • Perform manual data collection from various sources.

  • Analyze results and visualize them in an understandable way.

  • Validate the accuracy and completeness of collected data.

  • Identify and correct errors in data entries.

  • Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and scalability.

  • Ensure all data is of the highest quality and up to date.

  • Able to take complex data and break down to allow people of different levels of data literacy to understand

  • Participate in ideation sessions and contribute to data-driven content ideas.

  • Design and maintain scalable, automated data collection pipelines, including bots capable of bypassing basic web firewalls, captchas, and IP rate limiting.

  • Develop and implement advanced scraping techniques (e.g., headless browsers, rotating proxies, API reverse engineering).

  • Apply statistical methods and exploratory data analysis (EDA) to extract insights and support editorial or strategic decisions.

  • Visualize data using modern BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and create dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Monitor and evaluate data trends, anomalies, and emerging patterns that can lead to impactful stories.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience with SQL (Understand Relational Databases), Python, Looker (Google Data Studio) or Tableau.

  • Experience analyzing and scraping data for Digital PR purposes.

  • Excellent knowledge of English language.

  • Min 2 years of experience in Data Analyst role.
