  • Problem Solving and Analysis: Identify financial issues, trends, and discrepancies, and work collaboratively to develop effective solutions. Use analytical skills to address complex financial matters and optimize financial outcomes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with departments such as operations, sales, and management to provide financial insights that drive business performance and ensure alignment with overall financial goals.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate accounting processes and systems, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the development and refinement of budgets and forecasts, actively participating in reviews and providing variance analysis and actionable insights.

The Ideal Profile: Is This You?
Here’s what helps people succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA is preferred.

  • 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant financial regulations.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite and Microsoft Business Central).

  • Advanced Excel skills with a strong aptitude for data analysis and problem-solving.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to succinctly convey complex financial information to non-financial audiences.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Nice-to-have: Experience working in a global company or in sports media.
