Job description

We are looking for an experienced and data-driven CRO Specialist to join Better Collective’s Paid Media division. In this role, you will play a key part in improving conversion performance across paid media channels by identifying optimisation opportunities, leading A/B testing efforts, and translating insights into scalable actions.

You will sit within our Experimentation and Optimisation Team. Your focus will be on the Paid Media division, working closely with Performance Marketing, Product, and Design teams to test and implement changes that increase user engagement and drive business impact.

Your expertise will ensure Paid Media campaigns deliver optimal value across landing pages, creatives, and ad copy. You will combine research, user insights, and analytics to craft better user journeys and maximise conversion potential across a wide range of markets.

Job responsibilities

  • Own and execute CRO initiatives for the Paid Media division, identifying performance gaps and developing hypotheses to improve outcomes.

  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, and ad platforms to conduct quantitative and qualitative research.

  • Work alongside UX/UI designers to ideate, visualise, and execute impactful test variants.

  • Manage the full optimisation lifecycle, from research and prioritisation through to testing, measurement, and rollout.

  • Communicate test results clearly to stakeholders, ensuring learnings are shared and successful outcomes are scaled.

  • Align CRO activity with broader Paid Media strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed CRO into planning processes.

  • Support the development and reporting of key CRO metrics and KPIS.

Job requirements

  • Experience optimising performance for Paid Media channels such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, affiliate traffic, and CRM campaigns.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear business insights.

  • Proficiency with A/B testing tools such as VWO, along with a good foundation in statistics.

  • Comfortable with tools like Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar for behavioural analysis.

  • Experience aligning CRO strategy with stakeholder objectives and managing test pipelines.

  • Ability to distil complex data into a compelling narrative and make data-informed recommendations.

  • Curious mindset with a strong sense of initiative and ownership.

  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Bonus qualifications

  • Advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager.

  • Google Tag Manager.

  • HTML, CSS, Javascript, or jQuery.

  • CRM tools such as Hubspot.

  • Copywriting or creative strategy.

  • Interest or experience in the sports betting or iGaming industry.
