Job Description:

As a Machine Learning Developer at Better Collective, you will play a pivotal role in our data-driven environment. You will be part of a team working on a project that focuses on showing contextualized and engaging ads to users. The core of this project is the NLP (Natural Language Processing) module, which is integral to a vast microservices architecture. The primary responsibility of this role is to advance our NLP capabilities, utilizing GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 models to recognize the context of sports-related web pages and metadata, thereby enhancing the user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain, improve and fine-tune the NLP models.
  • Utilize GPT-3.5/GPT-4 models to extract insights from article summaries and metadata.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful Fast API using Python to make the NLP model accessible to the system.
  • Enhance the system's ability to recognize full taxonomies based on article summaries and page metadata.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP and Machine Learning technologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data-driven strategies in advertising.


Job requirements

  • Proven experience in developing NLP solutions and working with machine learning models.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Knowledge of GPT-3.5/GPT-4 models and their applications.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases is a have.
  • Experience with SQL databases is required.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
