Are you ready to kick-start your HR career and play an important role in supporting our people and culture across Europe?

We are looking for a Junior HR Generalist to join our team in Niš, Serbia. In this role, you’ll be at the core of our People & Culture function, helping to create a positive and consistent employee experience across multiple European countries. You will report to the Team Lead, People & Culture Europe, based in Thessaloniki, and collaborate closely with local teams and our international People team.

You will support the HR Manager area within People & Culture Europe, assisting with employee lifecycle activities, HR documentation, recruitment support, benefits administration, onboarding, and HR programs. You will also contribute to people initiatives, internal events, and engagement activities, helping to ensure alignment between HR efforts and business priorities.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and contract management to offboarding and exit formalities.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

  • Prepare HR documentation such as offer letters and payroll input.

  • Support payroll accuracy by providing timely updates.

  • Coordinate employee benefits, including medical and life insurance administration, and liaise with external providers when needed.

  • Ensure awareness of  and support compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.

  • Act as a trusted first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and benefits.

  • Support onboarding activities to ensure every new hire feels welcome and well-prepared.

  • Assist in organizing internal events, training sessions, and workshops that strengthen engagement and collaboration.

  • Support HR and management teams on ad-hoc projects and initiatives across Europe.

  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including drafting job ads, screening applications, and assisting in the facilitation of interviews.

  • Help maintain and improve HR processes, and documentation for greater efficiency and employee experience.

  • Contribute to ongoing HR programs such as performance management, learning & development, and employee engagement initiatives.

Job requirements

We are looking for someone who is motivated to develop a career in HR and who enjoys working with people. Ideally, you:

  • Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Communicate clearly and fluently in English, both written and spoken.

  • Bring a positive, proactive attitude and are eager to learn.

  • Can manage multiple tasks while keeping deadlines in mind.

  • Are a good team player who also enjoys taking initiative.

  • Previous HR generalist experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge/work experience upon labor laws of one or more of our European locations (Poland, Romania, Malta, Netherlands, Greece, Sweden) will definitely be considered a plus
