Job description

Are you skilled in PHP and/or JavaScript/TS and ready to grow your career?

We are looking for a junior or medior developer to join our experienced and skilled Engineering Team of 50+ members.

You will be joining the Paid Media Engineering Team in Serbia, to work together with other developers, Devops, QAs, PMs who are located mostly in Serbia, but also in Poland, UK, Denmark, Bulgaria and Romania.

You will be onboarded to the tech stack and software development, and mentored by experienced senior colleagues.

We develop web applications and backend services to support Paid Media business operations, using mostly PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, Symfony, AWS, CloudFlare.

We work in Scrum (2-week sprints), with all roles included, having regular refinements, plannings, sprint reviews, retrospectives and dailies.

Job responsibilities

  • Deliver solutions that are well-engineered, maintainable and testable

  • Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities; compare data from different sources to draw conclusions

Job qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in one of the following: 

    • PHP

    • JavaScript (ECMA 6 and newer)

    • HTML/CSS/SCSS

    • NodeJS

    • TypeScript

    • SQL

  • Fair analytical skills, ability to learn quickly, communicate and work collaboratively in a team environment

Good to have

  • Passionate about producing clean, maintainable, and scalable code

  • Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills

  • Practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum development

  • Experience with AWS Services

  • Experience with MySQL, Redis

  • Basic understanding of Git workflows
