About the role 

Action Network, a leader in the sports betting media space, is launching a new vertical focused on coverage of politics, culture, entertainment, and more as it relates to prediction markets. Prediction markets enable investment in specific outcomes of events using financial incentives and seek to be the world’s “source of truth” for predicting what’s to come.

Your main responsibilities

  • Write content for a new vertical focused on prediction markets

  • Drive traffic to stories about politics, entertainment, culture and more

  • Use SEO, Reddit, Google Discover and other mediums to take advantage of viral content opportunities

  • Collaborate with editors and SEO professionals to maximize reach and impact

Who you are 

  • You have experience in digital media or online writing

  • You know how to write for the modern web and build an audience.

  • You've covered or are interested in U.S. politics, entertainment, and/or culture

  • You have a basic understanding of probability and betting markets

Our expectations to you

Action Network has always led the sports betting industry, and we want to do the same in prediction markets. You’ll build this vertical into one that gets eyeballs but also helps shed light on politics and entertainment through the eyes of probability and market movement. You’ll help readers better understand what to look for, how to look for it, and why prediction market pricing is important.
