Are you a well-organised, results driven SEO content professional with an interest in sports? If so, you might be our perfect candidate!

We’re looking for an SEO Content Lead with strong experience in online content management, as well as project and people management, to contribute to the growing success of our media partnership with Goal.com in the USA

THE ROLE

Better Collective is a world-leading producer of sports betting content so we’re a natural fit when elite media publishers want to deliver quality betting coverage for their readers.

Our Media Partners include top-tier titles such as Depor.com, The Daily Telegraph, The New York Post and Goal.com. This role will be integral to ensuring the content we deliver achieves our partners’ high standards in terms of both quality and performance.

As SEO Content Lead your key objectives will be to drive performance for our partnership with Goal.com in the USA, alongside implementing and refining existing best practice in the launch and development of new verticals with Goal and existing US partnerships

You will be in charge of building and managing a team of content managers and writers and making sure high quality and SEO standards are instilled in all of our content.

You know what makes high-quality betting content and have the ability to communicate your vision to writers and editors, along with a firm grasp of SEO fundamentals and an eye for measuring performance.

Based in BC’s London office (with a flexible work from home policy), you will work with a highly-skilled and dedicated team, focused on delivering on Better Collective business goals in your target market.

Job requirements

AS SEO CONTENT LEAD YOU WILL

  • Be responsible for the performance of a high-potential US Media Partnership

  • Create and supervise editorial planning and strategies, for advertising and news

  • Manage a team of SEO and Content Creation specialists

  • Support local teams in establishing best practices

  • Oversee and develop our relationship with media partners in your region

  • Define and develop the keyword strategy for media partnerships in your region

  • Lead on the planning of evergreen, timely and event focused campaigns

  • Drive the production of best in class content that matches our partners standards

  • Evaluate and optimise performance for media partnerships in your region

  • Working with Director of Media Partnerships Operations to launch new verticals

  • Monitor performance of published content with dedicated tools (GA, GSC, etc) and suggest improvements

  • Overseeing and coordinating the production of high quality commercial and informative content, on the topics of sports, sports betting and online gambling

  • Working closely with other departments, by building common strategies, and sharing achievements to colleagues and top management

  • Define and monitor targets and KPIs for the team, and handle day-to-day management

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Able to attend our London office a minimum of two days per week

  • Thrives on responsibility for delivering against business objectives

  • Proven managerial and leadership skills

  • Has a good understanding of SEO and Content Creation for betting

  • Has created high-performing content

  • Has experience in the successful execution of effective content strategies

  • Has at least three years of content production experience

  • Is extremely well organised and detail driven

  • Understands the audience for sports betting content in the USA
