You are...

A qualified account executive who will work as part of the company’s Canadian Sales Team, which is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of partnerships and advertising across our various properties and platforms. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with partners, agencies, and brands while identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.

You will...

  • Be a key member of The Nation Network’s sales team.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize sales opportunities.

  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including account management, marketing, production, and content, to create customized advertising and sponsorship packages that meet partner objectives.

  • Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and contracts to partners, effectively communicating the value proposition of our media platforms and offerings.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to position The Nation Network as a leader in sports media.

  • Track sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts using CRM software, providing regular updates to management.

Job requirements

You have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field and/or equivalent experience in a senior level sales position.

  • Experience working with ad agencies and media buyers

  • Proven track record of success in media sales, advertising sales, or related field, with a minimum of 3 -5 years of experience.

  • Strong understanding of the sports media landscape, including digital media and live events.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software, Google Slides / Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
