Job description

As the Head of Paid Media NA, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and identifying growth opportunities whilst optimising current operations for our clients. Your proactive leadership and deep industry knowledge and competitor insights will drive the discovery of new opportunities, building on a strong network of contacts within the industry. This role demands confidence, entrepreneurial energy, and the ability to inspire and guide teams whilst forging strategic partnerships to achieve ambitious growth goals.

Job requirements

  • Lead end-to-end campaign strategy and execution across various digital marketing channels including but not limited to SEM, Paid Social, Display Advertising

  • Proven track record (3 to 5 years) of driving growth through innovative strategies, managing budgets, P&L, and KPIs, while delivering results in competitive markets

  • Strong analytical skills for assessing markets, forecasting opportunities, and staying ahead of emerging trends.

  • Entrepreneurial and commercially focused, with a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and adaptability in dynamic environments

  • Expertise in the gaming, sports, and online gambling sectors, with deep knowledge of affiliate marketing, paid media strategies, consumer behaviour, and product growth marketing

  • Has run digital marketing  campaigns in the NA region (1 to 2 years)

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic

    • Drive the company’s strategic growth by identifying and capitalising on new market opportunities and scalable channels

    • Inspire and lead teams with a clear vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term goals

    • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events and conferences, building and strengthening strategic relationships

 

  • Market Insights & Innovation

    • Apply deep industry knowledge to evaluate market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor strategies,

      driving the development of marketing initiatives and innovative product solutions

    • Identify and champion unique value propositions for new products and features, ensuring competitive differentiation

 

  • Paid Media & Campaign Optimisation

    • Oversee and scale paid media campaigns across channels such as direct publishers, PPC, and social media

    • Continuously optimise media buying strategies to maximise on ROI whilst hitting client KPIs and aligning with business goals

    • Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge platforms and methodologies for campaign execution and performance measurement

 

  • Operational Excellence & Team Management

    • Ensure efficient resource allocation and oversee the successful execution of projects

    • Lead and empower a high-performing team, providing mentorship and conducting regular performance reviews

    • Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration across teams

 

  • Compliance & Coordination

    • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and adherence to industry regulations

    • Promote a culture of compliance, managing operational risks effectively across all activities

 

  • P&L responsibility

    • Full ownership for P&L for NA activities

    • Responsible for developing and managing annual budgets, including forecasting

    • Provide timely financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership

    • Work to identify and implement strategies to grow top-line revenue while improving margins

  • Local Market Insights & Strategy

    • Leverage deep understanding of NA to develop targeted affiliate marketing strategies that resonate with the audience and meet business objectives

    • Identify regional trends, customer behavior, preferences, and seasonal patterns to optimize affiliate campaigns.

    • Analyze local competitors and affiliate activities to ensure competitive positioning and identify opportunities for growth

Location

Location preference is to be within one of Better Collective’s New York or London offices.
