Job description

FUTBIN is looking for a designer with a strong design understanding and analytical approach

FUTBIN is looking for a designer who wants to help further develop one of the world's leading gaming platforms across our digital solutions.

Your Role

As a designer with us, you will be part of a platform with an enormous user base. Every month, millions of users visit our sites to find data, build squads, and follow everything within EA FC and Ultimate Team.

In your role as a designer, you will be tasked with realizing and designing new concepts, and we see it as a great advantage if you have a technical understanding of HTML and CSS, so you can bring your visual ideas to fruition yourself.

Initially, the focus will be on FUTBIN.com, but in the long term, there may also be tasks related to our apps for Android and iPhone.

Cliché or not, you will be juggling many balls. The pace is sometimes high, as EA FC is constantly evolving, and this requires us to be able to react quickly to new events, features, and changes.

You will be part of our development team in Aarhus, where designers and developers work closely together across both FUTBIN and our sister medium HLTV.

Job requirements

We are looking for a designer who is passionate about creating the best experience for our users and developing tomorrow's solutions across our platforms. You have a natural curiosity to explore how visual design and functionality merge, and you thrive working in an environment where the user's experience is always the focus.

We are looking for you who can bridge the gap between design and development. With your keen design understanding and analytical sense, you are able to translate complex data, tables, and game mechanics into user-friendly and logical interfaces, where you think in code from the first sketch and can seamlessly switch between Figma and our codebase.

We Are Looking For You Who

  • have an analytical and problem-solving approach to UI/UX design

  • have experience with Figma or similar design programs

  • can work on several projects at once

  • create visual solutions where aesthetics and functionality go hand in hand

  • can follow an idea all the way from sketch to mockup and on to final frontend implementation

  • have practical experience with HTML, CSS, and frontend in general, so you can confidently and independently implement your designs directly in the code

Furthermore, it is a great advantage if:

  • you have knowledge of EA FC and Ultimate Team, as this game understanding contributes important domain knowledge to the development of our solutions

  • you are fluent in Danish, as it is a great advantage in our daily work in the Aarhus office

We Offer

  • Flexitime

  • 37-hour work week

  • Paid mobile phone, internet, and laptop

  • Delicious lunch scheme

  • Free coffee & soda

  • Annual trip to major Counter-Strike events
