Job description

As a Content Writer, your key objectives will be the writing, editing and optimisation of high-class betting content for one of our top-owned sports betting sites. Working with the team in London in a hybrid role, you will become part of a highly skilled and dedicated team, mainly working primarily on the UK and other English markets, trying to cater to various user groups in the broad field of sports betting and the iGaming industry.

We believe that great SEO content isn’t content that features the most keywords, but is the content that performs the best in organic search. That starts with an aspiration to create the best content for the informational needs of our visitors. This might include crafting stories and providing statistical commentary on popular betting markets. We’re not interested in creating digital landfill; we want to create content that achieves fantastic reach.

AS OUR CONTENT WRITER/EDITOR YOU WILL

  • Write and edit informative and engaging sports and betting related content for our owned assets, such as reviews for sports betting sites

  • Work closely with the SEO manager to ensure the content is optimised for search engines

  • Edit and improve existing content while still performing well on Google

  • Edit and optimise sports betting tips articles for the news sections, about a wide range of sports

  • Help to ensure all content, including relevant betting offers, is up to date, accurate and fully compliant

  • Be goal oriented and work in a team that hit dedicated KPIs and user metrics

Job requirements

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Is someone with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role

  • Has experience using a content management system

  • Is passionate about sport and has knowledge of popular UK sports including football and horse racing. Knowledge or willingness to research popular US & Canada sports (NFL, NBA, NHL etc.)

  • Is someone with knowledge of SEO and can apply best practice to produce content that performs well in organic search

  • Can write and edit content to satisfy the needs of a target audience who are looking to bet 

  • Has some betting experience or knowledge of the betting industry

  • Has a keen eye for detail, willing to learn and has a proactive attitude

  • Takes pride in their work and is determined to reach goals

  • Willing to embrace AI to improve content and web page performance
