Social Media Manager - Sports Media

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to contribute to the success of our top performing sports media products in the German speaking markets.

THE ROLE

As our new Social Media Manager - Sports Media you will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring the Social Media strategy for our flagship products in order to expand brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales.

• Create and deliver unique content
• Drive and further enhance our social media strategy for the German speaking markets
• Oversee, review and optimise content activity and responses
• Create, and drive the implementation of content and marketing plans
• Contribute to adoption of emerging social platforms and tools, and take responsibility for the growth of new social channels.
• Enhance the social media technical response capabilities and develop a process that mitigates common technical problems
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to best leverage content across social media channels in line with the editorial strategy
• Ensure the social media commercial requirements are met
• Manage and develop work processes to ensure content quality and broad coverage across channels
• Work closely with our Editorial Content Teams catering the German speaking markets, hereunder the News, Tips & Commercial Leads, as well as the Better Collective Broadcasting Team for the integration of social media strategies
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders and business partners to ensure a multi-channel approach to content.

Important note:

This position is linked to a long term contract and the office is based in Vienna.
