Job description
We are on the lookout for a Data Protection Specialist to join our Regulatory Compliance team and support the maintenance of our Privacy Program and execution of data protection requirements.
Location: Lisbon
THE ROLE
Researching global data protection standards, with a particular focus on GDPR compliance, and relevant requirements under local laws
Supporting the development and maintenance of data protection processes, policies, and procedures, based on research findings and practical and commercial requirements
Supporting the Company’s GDPR readiness, in particular, readiness for an audit by the national data protection authority
Advising stakeholders on data protection requirements and compliance issues related to projects and campaigns
Supporting further development and maintenance of the Company’s Privacy Program and execution of data protection requirements (ROPA, Privacy by Design, DPIAs, and others)
Initiating and monitoring the conclusions of data processing agreements and related negotiations
Conducting DPIAs and TIAs
Advising on the due diligence and integration of the Company M&A targets into the data protection processes of the Better Collective Group

Job requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous professional experience in the implementation of legal and operational data protection requirements, GDPR and other relevant legislative requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law
Experience in information security would be considered an advantage
CIPP/E certificate would be a big plus
Fluent in English, good knowledge of business English and legal terminology
Excellent analytical skills
Solid communication skills
